Join Zaytuna College online on our YouTube channel at 10am PDT on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 to honor our BA and MA graduating classes. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nasrin Rouzati of Manhattan College will be the keynote speaker at this year's commencement program.

About the Keynote Speaker

Dr. Nasrin Rouzati is associate professor of Religious Studies at Manhattan College, New York. She holds a PhD from Durham University, UK, in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies. Her research interests are Islamic theology, Qur’anic studies, and theodicy.

Her book Trial and Tribulation in the Qur’an: A Mystical Theodicy, published in 2015, was read in Zaytuna College’s First Command Book Club in Ramadan of 2024.
