    In 2009, Zaytuna College was founded in Berkeley, California, with a mission that called for grounding students in the Islamic scholarly tradition as well as in the cultural currents and critical ideas shaping modern society.

Information Collection and Use

Zaytuna College is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. Your personal information is never shared and is always protected by 256-bit encryption.

Donations

To donate on this Web site, a user must first complete a donation form, on which the user must provide contact information (name, billing address, phone number, and email address) and financial information (credit card/debit card number and expiration date or checking account and routing number). This information is used to process donors’ contributions, provide donation/tax receipts, generate donor reports, contact the user in case we have technical issues processing a donation and, send program materials. We use Authorize.net and Blackbaud Merchant Services as our merchant account service providers to process credit card/debit card and ACH/Direct Debit donations. Both Merchant Service providers utilize end-to-end PCI-compliant solutions.

Cookies

We use cookies to improve the user experience, personalized content and adverts, and analyze website traffic. For these reasons we may share your usage data with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. Sharing / CCPA (DO NOT SELL)

Zaytuna does not share its donor data with any other organization or group. There is no need to opt-out of the sale of your data because Zaytuna neither shares nor sells donor data. Mailing List

Users who join Zaytuna College’s mailing list will receive periodic mailings throughout the year. Users may update their subscription details at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the email. This will remove your email from our global mailing list.

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When you submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected both online and off-line. All sensitive data entered (such as credit card numbers) is encrypted and is protected with the highest level of 256-bit encryption - SSL. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our supporters' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Stored credit card information is stored & processed using PCI Certified servers/ecommerce software, thus maintaining the highest level of protection.
