    In 2009, Zaytuna College was founded in Berkeley, California, with a mission that called for grounding students in the Islamic scholarly tradition as well as in the cultural currents and critical ideas shaping modern society.

    Zaytuna’s campus is on Holy Hill and students enter the College as part of a cohort, a community of learners that travel together through the curriculum.

God willing, you will share in divine rewards for each member you recruit, as their monthly donations will become a means of perpetual charity. To inspire your efforts, we are also offering these Ramadan challenge prizes:

  • Recruit 3 new members to receive access to an online course of your choice.
  • Recruit 5 new members to receive a copy of one of our curriculum series books, signed by President Hamza Yusuf.
  • The top 3 recruiters will be invited to dinner on campus with President Yusuf and select members of faculty.
