This Common Heritage Series is part of a new partnership between Zaytuna College and the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology which brings faculty and students together in exploration of this shared heritage. The Series begins with two special talks drawing from the Ancient liberal arts perspectives on language and number. These talks are co-sponsored by Renovatio, the journal of Zaytuna College. About Andrew Hicks Andrew Hicks is an associate professor in the Department of Music at Cornell University. His research focuses on the intellectual history of early musical thought in Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, and spans the linguistic and cultural spheres of Latin, Greek, Persian, and Arabic. About Andrew Hicks
